Solomon Mahlangu’s family reopened the murder case of Solomon Mahlangu after so many years

Solomon Kalushi Mahlangu was murdered a long time ago by the apartheid government for his undying spirit of fighting for what he believed was right for his country as a whole. They hanged him in his cell in person after he was arrested. His death left many people devastated and his family still has unanswered questions

The Mahlangu family reopened the case because they believe that there is a lot that was not told, to them and the country as a whole. Today as they were remembering him in Pretoria they announced that they will open the case once again, they expressed that after all they need closure and we all do in situations like these.

Someone’s death should not be ignored or kept under the carpet, truth needs to be revealed so that people who had a hand in all that evil-doing can be punished if they are still alive.

It is a good thing that his family is looking for justice for one of their own. Justice must be served they say, no one is above the law.
