For a long time, people have been calling for the department of education to introduce a uniform for school teachers because there are some teachers who do not dress appropriately and it distracts learners, especially modern female teachers. There is no designed uniform for dough African teachers. As a teacher, you just have to dress in a way that will make learners respect you. But nowadays, fashion and beauty have taken over in a way that teachers no longer dress for respect; they dress for fashion.

With all that, Ghana decided to introduce a uniform for all teachers. This came after there were many complaints that there were teachers who didn’t dress the sims in an appropriate way. To avoid such a situation, they introduced a uniform for both male and female teachers. Their uniforms appear to be decency and respect. The debate is very tight on social media about this topic. In my opinion, I don’t see anything wrong with how South African teachers dress. Remember, a teacher is a role model. He or she must always look presentable so that learners can see that if we study hard, we will have money and dress like our teacher. But if you are in a uniform, there is nothing motivating. You are just like a student.
