PSL Log Table After Wednesday Game
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) log table had some changes in the bottom half following a game that took place on Wednesday.
Only one game that took place this Wednesday between Marumo Gallants and TS Galaxy.
Marumo managed to claim a hard-fought victory against the Rockets.
Marumo headed to the game occupying the 15th position in the log table with only eight points after 11 games played.
The club was on level points with Swallows FC who are sitting at the rock bottom of the DStv premiership table.
Following this evening’s victory, Gallants managed to jump all the way to the 12th position and below Maritzburg United.
The club managed to leapfrog a total of three teams including Baroka FC, TS Galaxy, and Chippa United.
Baroka moved to the relegation playoff spot with eight points after 11 games played so far this season.
Following this evening’s loss Galaxy dropped to the 14th position with only nine points after 13 games played so far this season.
Chippa United dropped to the 13th spot with 10 points after 11 games played.
Gallants have now collected a total number of 11 points after 12 games played so far and the club’s mandate this season will be to avoid relegation under their newly appointed coach Dan Marisela.
Another mid-week game will take place tomorrow 2 December between Baroka and Orlando Pirates.
Baroka will head to the game aiming for three points to move out of the danger zone.
While Pirates will be aiming for the third spot if the club manages a victory with more than two goals.
A win for Pirates could take the club above Sekhukhune United, Supersport United, Stellenbosch FC, and Royal AM in the log table.
Meanwhile, a win for Baroka will take the Limpopo-based club to the 12th position above Galaxy, Chippa, and Gallants who just claimed the 12th spot this evening.
