The Pit Bull Federation of SA (PBFSA) has been calling Pit bull Owners to hand over their dogs to the nearest police station. Pit bull has been recognized as a dangerous animal which does not deserve to stay with people or in the community. We have recently heard many deaths caused by Pit bull in the past few weeks. Not long ago, we recently read an article about a man from Limpopo who was also killed by a Pit bull.
According to the source, the Police have arrested a 62-year-old woman after her dog attacked and killed a woman two before Christmas. The accident took place on a small farm in Limpopo. According to the statement given by the police, 43-year-old Melitta Sekole died after she was admitted to hospital after being attacked by Pit bull.
News24 reported that the victim was walking around the street when the dog started to attack her. The police spokesperson found that Sekole’s clothes were ripped off and her body was bitten by the dog. It is believed that it’s a Pit bull that killed 43-year-old Melitta Sekole.
62-year-old woman has been arrested after she was charged with culpable homicide. The woman made her first appearance in court, where she was denied bail. Her matter has been postponed, and she’s expected to make her appearance again in court on Thursday.
