Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service is battling another blaze.

The fire started on Monday morning in Simon’s Town above the Signal School.

Ten firefighting appliances and about 50 firefighters are on the scene.

They’re being assisted by the Table Mountain National Park and a crew from the Navy.

One chopper has begun water bombing the area.

A devastating fire that started on Table Mountain a few weeks ago destroyed parts of UCT campus.
