A young boy anticipated death on Facebook a couple of hours before he was gunned down

The South African Police Service (SAPS) members in Mitchells Plain are currently investigating the murder of Shakeel Adonis (pictured above), Shakeel had a premonition that he was going to die a couple of hours before he got gunned down

According to the Daily Voice news report, on Wednesday, 30 November Shakeel shared a post on Facebook written “Not scared to die I got somebody on the other side waiting on me”, and after 11 hours he was gunned down at the corner of Cricket and Rugby streets at Beacon Valley in Mitchells Plain.

On the day of his death, he told his family that he was going to visit a friend and while walking up the road he was attacked by unknown gunmen who shot him several times then fled the scene in a getaway vehicle. Shakeel was confirmed deceased by Medics at the scene after showing no signs of life.

The motive behind the murder is still unknown at this stage, whoever has information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects should contact the saps phone number or report at the nearest police station. Information provided will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
