MamKhize is now the proud owner of a top-flight football club

Having bought the entire Bloemfontein Celtic team before renaming them as Royal AM, the multi millionaire businesswoman has yet completed the purchase of another football team, this time going for the Bloemfontein Celtic ladies team, which she is also renaming to Royal AM.

The Celtic ladies who currently play in the Hollywoodbets Super League will relocate to the KwaZulu-Natal province and take the new name, just as their male team did when they were bought by the same person.

“it is great to see that women’s football in South Africa is starting to get the attention of people around the country. With the increased investment, sponsorships and development, the long term goal is to take the standard of Womens football to become like male football, ” said Mamkhize
